Camp Red Stone is our ministry to children from Pre-school to 5th grade. During their elementary years, children are learning the foundations of what they will believe for the rest of their lives. At Red Stone, we want that foundation to be the gospel of Jesus Christ.
On Sunday mornings children are checked in to Camp Red Stone in the front lobby of our facility prior the service at 10 a.m. Children are then taught by our well-trained volunteers using age-appropriate activities and the Gospel Project Curriculum. Every lesson is based on a passage from the Bible and points children to the gospel.
Camp Red Stone volunteers range from college students to senior adults from our congregation. Teachers serve for a full month at a time to develop real relationships with the children. Each class always has at least two adult teachers and may also include Middle School-aged teaching assistants.
Your child’s safety is of great importance to Red Stone Church. On Sundays, children are checked in at the front lobby of our facility. Every child is registered, given a tag, and never released without a parent identification tag. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
All adults involved in our Sunday morning children’s ministries are required to pass a thorough background check and undergo training in childcare essentials. There will also be at least two adults in every class to ensure a high level of accountability at all times.
